It is my pleasure to announce Portland Energy Basketball and Southridge youth basketball will be working together in the winter season. Our goal is to transcend basketball lessons into life lessons. As coaches, we want our youth to become team players in a successful program which functions as a family and to help them become better people.
We look to achieve our goal by reinforcing a positive attitude and encouraging our players to give there all, in all aspects of life. Southridge H.S embodies these ideals making them great partners to extend our basketball community. As our players get older, we want to ensure that their basketball community extends throughout the Metro area.
What this means for you:
During the winter season Portland Energy Basketball and Southridge Youth Basketball will be working together to offer the best basketball program in Beaverton.
Southridge will offer one team at grade levels 5th-8th grade. Everyone is encouraged to try-out.
For those not in the Southridge district & who do not want to try-out for Southridge teams, Portland Energy will still offer our Clinic and teams as usual.
At the end of the try-outs players will be assigned to the Southridge team or Portland Energy teams. If you are in 2nd-4th grade you will be playing with Portland energy during the winter season.
